Our Tribe's Reservation geographically spans throughout rural Moody County, South Dakota in a checkerboard fashion; however, the Tribe also has historical connections with lands located all along the Big Sioux River and across Minnesota. These connections have resulted in an interwoven tribal community of tribal and non-tribal members, with strong held qualities of resilience, drive, tradition and pride. Our Tribe, its departments, programs and businesses all passionately lead, serve and consistently support, economically and through active participation, the community on and off the formal Reservation boundaries. This support from the Tribe and its entities help to sponsor individuals, teams, non-profits and many youth programs throughout the community. Our Tribe and our people once lost everything but over the course of the last 150 years, we have rebuilt a community for future generations that continues to grow across many disciplines and industries. 605 Lending was established as a dba under FSST Management Services, LLC in 2017 to assist with providing economic development. The “home office” for 605 Lending is located on the Flandreau Santee Sioux Reservation.

605 Lending funded its first loan in May of 2018 and has grown into a business that provides financial assistance for tribal programs along with many donations, sponsorships and assisting with fundraisers.

The company started with one full time employee and now currently has 20 full time employees.
